Bill Honsberger and his wife Terri live in Aurora, CO and have eight children. Bill has been working with and around cults for over twenty-five years. For the past twenty years he has worked for Haven Ministries (under the auspices of the Conservative Baptist Home Mission Society for the first 9 years), a ministry that focuses on evangelizing people in cults, the New Spirituality and other non-Christian religions. Haven Ministries also works on educating the church as to the issues raised by non-Christian religions. Bill has a Bachelors degree from Western Bible College in Pastoral Theology, a Master of Arts Degree in Systematic Theology from Denver Seminary, numerous hours in graduate study in philosophy and history at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Colorado-Boulder, and reached candidate status for the completion of his PhD at the University of Denver. He has also taught as an adjunct professor at several Christian schools and for a local community college. He speaks at colleges and churches around the country and has had numerous television, radio and newspaper interviews. He is also on the national board for Evangelical Ministries to New Religions (EMNR), a network of Counter cult/apologetic ministries from around the country.

James Choury was converted to Christ in f 1972. He was baptized at Belcaro Evangelical Free Church two months after his conversion and began an intensive self study of the Bible which soon lead him to Denver Seminary where he received the Masters of Divinity degree. Jim and his wife Barbara where appointed as missionaries with the Conservative Baptist Foreign Mission Society (CBFMS) to Argentina in 1980 and served in the land of the gaucho for 14 years. Jim and Barb left Argentina and were reassigned to Brazil in 1997 after a three year term of service in the United States. The Chourys were church planters in both countries and also taught numerous subjects in local Bible schools during their time with CBFMS. Jim has been involved in Apologetics and personal evangelism for two years with Haven Ministries and enjoys serving his Lord now in the United States.

Ed and Jeanie have been at Foothills Fellowship for 25 years, where Ed has served as Senior Pastor. He graduated from Denver Seminary in 1984 with an M.Div., Pastoral Emphasis. Ed has taught several adjunct classes at Denver Seminary, as well as leading missionary and elder board retreats.

Ryan Holloway is currently pursuing a M.Div. from Denver Seminary. He holds a B.A. in English Studies from Illinois State University and a Graduate Certificate in TESOL from Wheaton College. Ryan has taught university ESL courses in Conversation, Composition, and Speech Writing in the Peoples Republic of China, Cambodia, and Vietnam. In 2008 he was a contributor and workshop leader for the 4th Annual CamTESOL International Conference. Ryan has also worked extensively in television preparing scripts for commercial spots, psa’s, and news and special interest programs. Most recently, he has contributed to the resources page of Shepherd Project Ministries.

Matthew Nansel and his wife Julie live in Johnstown, CO and have six children. Matthew received his Masters of Theology degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently the Associate pastor at New Hope Fellowship in Erie, Colorado. Before New Hope Fellowship Matthew was the youth pastor at Antioch Baptist Church for nine years, with some ministry work done with Haven Ministries. Matthew is also a chaplain with the Air National Guard and has been in the military since 2001.

Ryan and his wife Adrienne live in Lakewood, Colorado. Ryan is on staff with Foothills Fellowship Church in Littleton, Colorado, serving as the director of College and Career Ministries. Over the last several years, Ryan has worked with many high school and college students and is passionate about helping students to reach their spiritual and academic potential.
Ryan is extremely interested in theology, philosophy, history and Church history, with special research experience in patristic theology and Reformation history.
A native of Colorado, Ryan enjoys working with students, spending time playing and watching sports, reading, writing, theology, and the Denver Nuggets…but mostly the Denver Nuggets.

Mary has over 25 years of administrative and executive experience working in both the corporate world as well as on staff for a local ministry. She has been a Christian for 27 years. Mary and her husband, Tom, have four beautiful daughters ranging in age from high school to preschool, which makes for a very active family life. She enjoys board games, sledding and walks with her family and their dog.
